A game designed to give as many squad members of both sides some additional exposure, was played in great cricketing spirits, with both sides thoroughly respectful of each other.

On a softish pitch, Quorn were put into bat first and at 31/4, ITCC were most definitely on top. This included 2x wickets in 2x balls from Emily Allan, just missing out on her hat-trick, as the third delivery whistled past the off-stump, with not even room for a sheet of paper to come between them.

Although, a great fight back from Quorn for their 5th wicket partnership, made sure they gave ITCC a reasonable target of 108.

In reply ITCC remained calm and professional, keeping on target with the run rate throughout.

That was until Archie Broughton entered the arena, and decided it was time to get ruthless, and he alongside Edie Andrews finished the task at hand, with a couple of overs to spare.
