At the 4th time of asking and with improved team performances week on week, our U17s have eventually broken their duck and secured a convincing win at home tonight versus Enderby CC.
Asked to bowl first in depressing conditions, and battling against persistent rain showers (you know that fine rain you get, that sends everybody inside), ITCC remained professional and restricted Enderby to just 65 well within the allocation.
In return Zayn led from the front, as he was hoping to get the job done in double quick time, due to having to catch the train to Oxford tonight to get him ready for representing Herefordshire tomorrow.
And ably supported by Charlie and Harrison, ITCC secured a 9x wicket victory in half the time allowed, with Harrison hitting the winning boundary.
Well done to Max and his team for persevering through all the pain and suffering they've experienced thus far.
Well earned success is never easy, and requires hard work and dedication, which this victory represents.
Well done lads!!!
